PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH RESUMES
“SOUL FOOD” PROGRAM
Peace Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, at 7201 South Highway 41 just five miles north of downtown Dunnellon, is resuming its Wednesday evenings family “Soul Food” program on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m. The program was put on pause while Peace held Wednesday evening services during the Lenten season.
The program will once again begin with a meal followed by Bible class for adults led by Church Pastor Terry McKee and recreation time for children. The program is free and all people in the Dunnellon and surrounding communities are invited to attend. The program offers working and younger families an opportunity to attend Bible class who are otherwise unable. Study will continue with looking at Jesus’ “I Am” words gaining insight into Jesus as he reveals himself through His words and deeds.
Peace Lutheran also offers morning Bible studies on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. as well as Sunday adult studies at 9:00 a.m. prior to the 10:00 a.m. worship service. Sunday school for children is also at 9:00 a.m.
Wednesday morning study has completed the book of Isaiah and is starting a study of the book of Genesis. Sunday morning study will begin to look at the life of Martin Luther after completing “A Brief History of the Christian Church from the Death of the Apostles to the Present Time”, the last chapter from “What
